*International Yoga Festival will be held in Rishikesh from 15th to 21st March*

The seven-day International Yoga Festival will start from March 15 in Rishinagari. In this, yoga practitioners from 7-8 countries will dive into the journey of spiritual knowledge. Yoga, physical and mental health, fitness and their food habits will also be discussed in the Mahotsav. Yoga will also be taught in the Mahotsav through different sessions like Music Therapy, Pragya Yoga, Marma Chikitsa.

The festival is being organized by Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board. During this, Tourism Secretary Shri Sachin Kurve took stock of the preparations at the venue. Tourism Secretary Shri Sachin Kurve, while addressing the journalists after taking stock, said that “Yoga practitioners from 7 countries are participating in the International Yoga Mahotsav. Shri Kurve said that till now more than 700 practitioners have registered to participate in the Yoga Mahotsav.” Registration has been done for this. Seekers from many countries are also participating in it. ”

In the Yoga Mahotsav, 6 big yoga institutes will share important yoga activities related to daily life including yoga, spirituality. There will be different sessions on yoga, physical and mental health and fitness over seven days, and apart from this, there will also be an opportunity to learn about yoga, health and diet from Anshuka Parwani. There will be participation from top yoga schools like Art of Living, Isha Foundation, Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram, Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute, Sivananda Ashram and Manav Dharma Ashram.

Devotees from all over the world participate in the Yoga Mahotsav held in Rishikesh every year in the month of March. Shri Sachin Kurve told on this occasion that due to yoga and meditation, the name of Rishikesh is known all over the world. That is why it is also called International Yoga Capital. In the coming time, the Tourism Department will work towards increasing the economy of the state by organizing many such important events. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, new destinations are being prepared in the field of tourism. We are getting opportunities to create many more such destinations.
