*Medicinal and fruitful plants planted in Shri Bharat Mandir Public School on Harela festival*

On the occasion of Uttarakhand Harela festival to be celebrated tomorrow on 16.7.2024, in Shri Bharat Mandir Public School, today on 15.7.2024, under the aegis of Principal KL Dixit, various trees and plants were planted in the school premises by students and teachers from nursery to class 12 to embellish the natural vegetation.

Among these plants having medicinal, fruitful and aesthetic properties, Aloe Vera, Rose, Rosemary, Petunia Neem, Guava Snake Plant Ashwath etc. were prominent.

The program director, English language teacher Mr. Vikas Varshney and Biology teacher Dr. Urmila Kandwal and other supporting teachers made the students aware of the features of the planted trees and plants.

Some students and teachers planted aesthetically suitable flowering trees in the middle place dividing the road path connected to Municipal Corporation Rishikesh.

At the end of the program The principal thanked all the teachers and students by congratulating them on Harela Day.
