Ashok Muni Ji Maharaj became the Mahant on the throne of Shri Harihar Baba Fakiradas Akhara Parishad.
Janadhar News Rishikesh 14/02/2024 On the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami, under the auspices of Shri Harihar Baba Fakiradas Akhara Parishad, Uttarakhand, Shisham Jhaadi located at Vaishno Devi Temple, Rishikesh, at the divine place, Ashok Muni Ji Maharaj was buried in the middle of Mahamandaleshwar 1008 of the Akhara Parishad. The decorated title was conferred by the founding international saint Sri Sri 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Swami Ranbir Das Ji Maharaj Ji. Akhara’s divine saint Shri Mahant Rajivdas Ji Maharaj, Shri Mahant Azad Muni Ji Maharaj, Shri Mahant Umesh Muni Ji Maharaj, and National General Secretary of Akhara Shri Mahat Pankaj Krishna Maharaj ji participated.
Ashok Ji Maharaj was enthroned with flower garlands after covering him with a sheet and turban. On this occasion, a huge Bhandara was organized in which devotees who came from far away places took Prasad. Ashok Muni Ji Maharaj said that while carrying out the Gaddi tradition, I will follow whatever tradition is being followed regularly and will always strive to serve the poor and the downtrodden.
